Flight Connections from Singapore to the North Island, New Zealand
Auckland Airport (AKL), located in the North Island, is New Zealand’s busiest airport and the fourth busiest overall in Oceania.
Direct flights from Singapore to Auckland operate every day with Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines. Several other airlines fly this route with just 1 stop on the way, including Malaysia Airlines and Qantas.
The average flight time from Singapore Changi to Auckland International Airport is 10h 25min.
There are several options to get to from Auckland Airport to the CBD. Driving takes around 20 minutes (up to NZD$85 in a taxi). Buses leave regularly, taking 40 minutes on average and costing very little. Shuttle services are also available which are around NZD$25 per person.
What’s the cheapest day of the week to fly from Singapore Changi to Auckland (AKL)?
For Singapore Changi to Auckland International, Monday is the cheapest day to fly on average and Wednesday is the most expensive. Flying from Auckland International back to Singapore Changi, the best deals are generally found on Thursday, with Sunday being the most expensive.
Is there a time difference between Auckland and Singapore
Yes. Singapore is 5 hours behind Auckland during the New Zealand summer (late September to early April) and 4 hours behind in the winter (early April to late September).
