New Zealand Guided Tours is your first stop for all inclusive trips to New Zealand.
Our New Zealand All Inclusive Tours include:
We make planning your New Zealand tour simple with a range of suggested itineraries. Or, if you are looking for a more bespoke option to suit your group, our team of New Zealand-based travel experts is here to design your ideal tour.
Below, discover what our all inclusive trips to New Zealand involve, what itineraries we suggest as a starting point when planning your vacation, and answers to FAQ’s about how our tours operate.

No matter the size of your group—from couples to groups of more than 20—we provide a luxury vehicle to suit.
Small groups such as couples or small families will travel in luxury 4WD vehicles with plenty of space to stretch out.
With larger groups, our range of top-tier Mercedes touring vehicles are the perfect option for comfortable, spacious seating and wide windows for sightseeing. And for the largest groups, we either provide a full-sized bus or divide the group between two separate touring vehicles, depending on your preferences.

We tailor each of our New Zealand all inclusive tours to suit your preferences, which means you choose the level of accommodation that suits your group.
Here in New Zealand, 4-star level is a good standard if you want clean, well-appointed rooms.
However, 5-star accommodation is a popular choice with our guided tour clients, especially since the excellent exchange rate means New Zealand is one of the most cost-effective places in the world to enjoy 5-star luxury.
We can also book luxury lodges or budget accommodation to suit your group’s tastes and preferences.
Our team works closely with a wide range of accommodation providers across the country, and we carefully select the very best in each destination on your tour route, taking into account factors like location, service, amenities, views, and suitability for your group.

Perhaps the most important part of your all inclusive trip to New Zealand is your tour guide. We carefully select experienced, professional guides who know the country inside and out, adding a tantalizing layer of richness and depth to your travels.
Friendly and welcoming, your guide will help you discover the hidden gems of New Zealand, giving you a local’s view of this beautiful country.
And if you have any special interests, such as wineries, waterfalls, or wildlife, your guide will point you to the very best.

Our all inclusive trips to New Zealand hit all the highlights, from Milford Sound cruises to Hobbiton tours, from scenic glacier helicopter flights to thrilling jet-boat rides.
No matter what itinerary you choose, rest assured that you will experience the best that New Zealand has to offer.
We have carefully designed our guided tours to balance scheduled activities with free time for sightseeing and exploring each destination, taking into account when these activities are best slotted into your tour.
As with every other detail, we are more than happy to customise the included activities to suit your interests or the ages and fitness level of your group members.

Many of our highly recommended tours and activities include meals. For example, the iconic TSS Earnslaw cruise in Queenstown culminates with a gourmet high country meal at Walter Peak High Country Farm.
In addition, you have the option to add daily breakfast to your accommodation for the sake of convenience. Whether this is a continental breakfast or a cooked breakfast depends on the level of accommodation you select.
For other meals, unless you are travelling as a very large group, your guide will help recommend and shuttle you to restaurants in each location. This flexibility allows you the freedom to follow your interests each day, lingering in places that captivate you and exploring off-the-beaten-track locations.

Our dynamic tour pricing is one of the top reasons to book New Zealand all inclusive tours with New Zealand Guided Tours.
Because we treat the guide, vehicle, and fuel as a set cost for each itinerary based on the requirements for each group size, the price per person decreases dramatically as your group gets larger.
This is in contrast to other tours where you book a space in a pre-organised group, because the per-person price does not change regardless of how many people end up booking onto the tour.
With large groups, the price is not much different from a self-drive holiday.
In other words, if you travel with friends, you can enjoy the premium experience of a fully chauffeured vacation at an excellent price.

Lord of the Rings Guided Tours
We have worked with groups of all sizes and varieties. If you are looking for inspiration, here are some of our most popular group types:
Families and extended families – New Zealand guided tours are a great option for families. Why not plan an unforgettable New Zealand family reunion with us? Instead of worrying about directions and trying to herd people from place to place, let your guide handle the details while you spend quality time together.
Two families together – When two families with children link up, you lower the travel costs while bringing built-in playmates for your children. What’s not to love?
Sets of couples or friends – This is another popular choice. Gather a group of your friends – if not couples, then two to a twin-share room is ideal if you want to keep costs down – and plan an amazing group experience.
Larger tour groups – We also cater for tour organisers who put together a large group of travellers from another country and need someone to provide everything on the New Zealand end.
Our private chauffeur/guide is not just there to provide transportation for you. From morning to evening, your guide is at your service, offering all of the following:
– Entertaining commentary on the sights en route
– Restaurant recommendations and transportation to and from meals-
– In-depth local knowledge, including scenic viewpoints and other locations of interest to visit
– Management of all details and scheduling of your trip
– Additional day trips or excursions of interest, as time permits
When you book your tour, we ask if you have any special interests, whether that be photography, wineries, wildlife viewing, or secluded beaches. That way, your guide will be able to cater your experience to incorporate the best New Zealand has to offer.
That depends on the size of your group and what time of year you are planning to travel. However, the easy answer is that the sooner you book, the better.
Here are a few things to consider:
The holiday period from around December 20th – January 5th books out extremely early. In addition, accommodation operators in key destinations like Queenstown impose lengthy minimum night stay restrictions and don’t allow check-ins or check-outs on public holidays. If you are hoping to travel over Christmas and the New Year, book as far in advance as possible.
Our peak season runs from around December 15th – March 31st. Book any tours within these dates well in advance. Certain destinations like Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook Village fill up quickly, which can limit your itinerary options if you wait too long to book.
Most of our tours are still available in winter. At this time of the year, most parts of the country are a lot quieter. However, ski destinations like Wanaka and Queenstown are bustling in July and August. We don’t frequently get snowfall down to the level of our major roads, though we do sometimes experience road closures that require detours.
