A fourth generation “Kiwi”, raised in the South Island, I’ve since lived in a beautiful bush-clad coastal region in the north with my husband, children and assorted fur friends. I have a great love for this land and its majestic natural beauty. I began showcasing New Zealand to an amazing array of international visitors as a full-time guide. Prior to that I had enjoyed a long and varied career in broadcast journalism. From political programmes, to garden and travel shows, I’ve built local knowledge and amassed stories from diverse and interesting sources. One career led smoothly into the other.
